Hoy hemos podido saber qué músicos acompañarán a Ville Valo durante su gira Neon Noir en 2023. Instagram ha sido el medio elegido para el comunicado, y en él tan solo se han dado a conocer los nombres de los músicos, sin ninguna información adicional. La formación de VV en directo contará con dos guitarras, además de bajo y batería; llama la atención que no haya teclista, ya que al menos en el single que hemos podido escuchar de su próximo disco, los teclados están muy presentes.
Al cargo de la guitarra estarán Mikko Virta y Sampo Sundström. Ambos guitarristas tienen una larga trayectoria a nivel nacional. Mikko fue guitarrista del conocido, y ya extinto, grupo de pop PMMP, además de en otros grupos como My First Band y Jere & the Universe. Actualmente es músico tanto de directo como de estudio de Paula Vesala, una de las integrantes de PMMP.
Sampo también ha trabajado con otros músicos nacionales, actualmente forma parte de la banda en directo de la conocida artista de pop Sanni.
Juho Vehmanen será el bajista , quien ya compartió grupo con Mikko, ya que han estado en los mismos grupos (PMMP, My First Band y Jere & the Universe). Actualmente actúa como músico de estuio, y también grabador y producción bajo el nombre Audioworks Finlandia.
El batería será Risto Rikala, también conocido por ser músico en directo de varios artistas de renombre finlandeses, tales como Jenni Vartianen y Ellinoora entre otros; y también ha sido músico de estudio, por ejemplo para Jenni Vartiainen, y también participó en la grabación de la canción con fines benéficos.
Ahora solo nos queda esperar unos cuantos meses para ver al grupo en directo :)
